House Rules

Prior to agreeing to the Rental Agreement, guests are kindly requested to review and adhere to the provided house rules outlined as follows:

1 General Requirements


All Guests and any Visitors must comply with all House Rules and any other instructions from the Property Manager during their stay. 

Guests must notify the Property Manager of any disputes or complaints from neighbors as soon as reasonably practicable.

    2 Noise and the Neighborhood


    This vacation rental is suitable for children under the age of 18, considering that there is a one-is-to-one (1:1) ratio of adults to children

    Guests are fully responsible for the safety and security of their children at all times, as well as any disturbance caused to other residents in the neighborhood.

    Guests and visitors must keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb the occupants of neighboring properties – especially during nighttime hours.

    Excessive noise is prohibited at all times and may result in termination of the vacation rental agreement, eviction, loss of rental paid, and extra charges.

      3 Visitors


      Guests are allowed a maximum of eight (8) overnight visitors during their stay.

      Guests are responsible for ensuring maximum visitor numbers are not exceeded; and that the ratio of 1:1 adults to children is followed. Any additional visitors for overnight stays are NOT allowed.

      Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited at the vacation rental.

      Pets are NOT permitted in the vacation rental. 

        4 Parking


        Guests and any visitors are to comply with parking regulations and other requirements set out below and show consideration to neighbors and other vehicles.

        Parking arrangements at the Vacation Rental are as follows:

        • Parking should be on the driveway.
        • Visitors could use the garage for electric vehicle charging 

        5 Garbage and Recycling


        Guests and their visitors are to dispose of garbage and recycling in accordance with the usual practice at the vacation rental, as set out below, in the allocated trash cans, and excess rubbish must not be left in public or common areas.

        Garbage and Recycling arrangements at the vacation rental are as follows:

        • Trash and Recycling Day: Friday
        • Following the above, trash and recycling must be taken out on Thursday nights at the latest to ensure its pick-up on Friday morning.

        6 Security


        Any time guests leave the vacation rental, it is their responsibility to ensure all windows and doors are closed/locked to maintain security and prevent rain and water damage.

        Guests must switch off lights, fans, and electronics such as televisions when not in use to promote energy saving. 

          7 Swimming Pool Rules


          Guests must supervise any babies and children at all times when using the pool.

          For safety reasons, it is not permitted to use any glassware in or around the pool area. Failure to comply with this rule will result to extra charges.

          8 Smoking


          Smoking is not permitted inside the vacation rental

          Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly and not thrown on property grounds. 

          9 Damages and Breakages


          All damages and breakages must be reported to the Property Manager as soon as reasonably practicable

          Failure to report them will likely result in a penalty. 

          To avoid damages and breakages, no furniture is to be moved from one room to another without prior agreement. Furthermore, no bathroom towels are to be removed from the property (i.e. for beach use).

          10 Security and Cleaning 


          Rules for key handover, security, cleaning, garbage, etc. are as follows:

          1. Gather used towels.
          2. Throw trash away.
          3. Turn things off.
          4. Run the dishwasher.
          5. Return keys.

            10 Compliance


            Breach of any of these House Rules is a breach of the Terms and Conditions of occupancy as per the Rental Agreement.

            The Owner and Manager reserve the right to terminate permission to occupy and to evict from the Vacation Rental, any Guests or Visitors who refuse to follow these House Rules or who cause a nuisance to neighbors or other residents of the community
